RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS
SOLAR PHOTO VOLTAIC AND WIND DRIVEN SYSTEMS
TDS specialize in the analysis of risk, (financial and due diligence), and project scope for any size or capacity, (and or scaled) introduction of Solar PV or Wind Driven systems. We undertake technical studies, feasibility, design and programming and including environmental and social feasibility. We perform Request for Proposals and bid evaluations and engineering design and permitting. And, project managing the implementation of standalone and or base load integrated, low carbon power systems.
INVESTORS AND STAKEHOLDERS
TDS have extensive expertise with regards to investor alignment, and managing complex multi stakeholder and politically sensitive arrangements- and which may significantly affect project progress, and success.
TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL CLOSE
We provide techno-economic assessments, including cost estimates and project implementation schedules and outlines of the proposed procurement and award process through to technical and financial close. And, construction schedules and target operation date. And, any phasing that is planned for project extensions or ongoing development.
We include analysis of capital costs, ‘pay back’ periods, ‘Levelized Cost of Energy’ (LCOE), and the potential value of Carbon Credits. And, where relevant, we may undertake comparisons of Solar PV to Wind Driven Systems.
RENEWABLE ENERGY SUPPLIERS
TDS have conducted extensive studies and international research, applying academic and technical methodology to investigate RE Suppliers with the capacity and expertise to implement standalone or baseload integrated Solar Photo Voltaic and Wind Driven Energy infrastructure and low carbon power systems. From the 28 Suppliers identified, we have selected 8 with whom we are forming relevant relationships that will be activated, ‘venture by venture’, to meet Client Specifications.
These suppliers may implement under either an Engineering, Procurement and Construction, or Independent Power Producer model.
- Integration of renewable energy into existing baseload plants;
- Transformers and back up;
- Capacity and load factors;
- Existing electrical grids;
- Distributed energy and efficiencies applications;
- Distribution and transmission requirements; and that may support local communities, social enterprise development.

CLEAN DEVELOPMENT MECHANISM
We may assess the opportunity for developing a Clean Development Mechanism, (CDM). A CDM is defined in Article 12 of the Kyoto Protocol- allowing a country with an emission-reduction or emission-limitation commitment under the Kyoto Protocol to implement an emission-reduction project in developing countries where such projects can earn saleable certified emission reduction (CER) credits, each equivalent to one tonne of CO2, which can be counted towards meeting Kyoto targets.
LEGAL AND REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS
TDS undertake macro assessment of related risk surrounding geo-political and national political, or economic uncertainties, and the associated regulatory and legal frameworks for independent power production, distribution and sale. We may assist clients and suppliers regarding permitting, and we are extensively experienced in leading and participating in government negotiations.
POWER BACK UP AND OFFTAKE AGREEMENTS
TDS may analyse and advise opportunities for Power Back Up, and Offtake Agreements.
